Laura Price is the Perinatal Hepatitis C Coordinator for Knox County and the 15 surrounding counties. She has been with the Tennessee Department of Health (TDH) since 2015 working in various roles including the Newborn Screening Program, Zika and Neurologic Birth Defects, and now the Viral Hepatitis Program. Laura’s previous experience was as a clinical nurse in a small community hospital working primarily in Maternal Newborn nursing with additional experience in the local health department in the Maternal Child Health Division. Stepping outside the clinical arena, she worked as a Nurse Recruiter for several years. She earned her nursing degree from Prince George’s Community College.
